Conference on “Industry 4.0 in Agriculture and Land Resources Exploitation Management”

Can Tho University held a scientific conference on “Industry 4.0 in Agriculture and Land Resources Exploitation Management” on 24 September 2021. The conference was a cooperative effort of Can Tho University, Sub-Nation Institute of Agricultural Planning and Projection, Soil Science Association of Can Tho University, Institution/University network, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Department of Crop Production related to the field of land management. The conference was organized using an online platform, attracted more than 250 delegates who are managers, scientists, lecturers, Ph.D. students from over the country.

The conference was successfully organized with a plenary session and three parallel sessions, in which there are two keynote speeches and twelve presentations. The main contents of the conference were around GIS and Remote Sensing technology in land resources management; Information technology in land administration; Urban and land use planning, Natural resources and minerals management; Climate change and sustainable development; Smart agriculture; Industry 4.0 in Agriculture.

At the conference, the delegates exchanged and discussed the research outcomes and orientation in field of argiculture and land resources managements, environmental resources in context of intergation with the industrial 4.0.
