The IFGTM2021 was organised annually by Can Tho University (CTU) and the International Forum on Green Technology and Management consortium via Zoom Meeting platform on the 26th Nov 2021. The IFGTM 2021 is platform for researchers and managers to share knowledge and expertise in applied research, best pratice solutions and actions for sustainable development. There were 148 participants attended the conference. The vice of CTU Prof. Tran Ngoc Hai and Prof. Huynh Trung Hai, the chairman of the consortium gave speeches in the opening ceremony of the conference. The two key-note speaker Prof. Atsushi Ishimatsu from JICA CTU project and Dr. Wichitra Singhirunnusorn from Mahasarakham University, Thailand presented interesting topics on the Mekong Delta with its importance, vulnerabilities, and possibilities and biomass blending for energy from agricultural residues. The 7 parallel sessions happened with 32 presentations from 18 universities, institutions all over the world. In the closing ceremony, the best 7 presenters were selected and awarded. The next IFGTM2022 organised by the Institute of Environmental Technology, Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology in Ha Noi was also announced and tentatively launched from March 2022.
